Local search and Google Business Profile
When someone nearby searches for what you do, your Google Business Profile and your website are usually the first things they see. We set both up properly, keep them accurate, and make it easy for a searcher to call or book.
What we do
- Set up or tidy your Google Business Profile: the right categories, services, service area, hours, photos and a link to the page that matches each search.
- Keep your business name, address and phone number the same everywhere they appear: your website, your profile and the directories that matter for your trade.
- Service and service-area pages on your website, written from the work you actually do and the places you actually serve.
- Search basics on every page: unique titles and descriptions, structured data for local businesses, a sitemap, and fast loading on phones.
- Google Search Console set up in your name, so you can see which searches bring people to your site.
- Review requests to customers who agreed to hear from you, using your own review link. We never write or buy reviews.
What we won’t promise
Nobody can guarantee a position in Google’s results, and we won’t. Google says local results are mainly based on relevance, distance and prominence, and that there’s no way to request or pay for a better local ranking (Google Business Profile Help). What we can do is make sure your profile and your site are complete, accurate and useful.
Our guide to Google Business Profile for service-area businesses covers the rules that trip most businesses up, such as showing an address when you serve customers at their location.
Common questions
Do I need a website as well as a Google Business Profile?
Your profile helps people find you; your website is where they decide. A profile that links to a clear page for the service they searched for usually works better than one that links to a generic home page.
Who owns the Google Business Profile?
You do. We work as a manager on your profile, and you can remove our access at any time.
What does it cost?
Local search work is quoted after a free review, because it depends on how many locations, services and listings you have. See pricing.
